This painting is a portrait of a specific Best in Show

winning English Setter. Even though the coat is a little more

than desired for a dog in the field, I have included this photo for

you to see my use of color, lighting, and texture.

The painting was awarded The Westminster Award at the

Dog Fanciers Club in New York. The awards luncheon was at

Sardi's Restaurant and is a very important event in the Dog

Art World.
